Why Book Ben
Ben has been playing guitar and writing original music for decades with an expansive library from several full-length albums. With 5+ years of experience fronting the band “Selkow” and the cover band “Zoe's Playlist”, Ben is able to bring hours of entertainment to your venue.
Ben's style is a unique blend of acoustic rock, hip-hop, folk and blues with a strong focus on meaningful, story-driven songs. While happy to accommodate the venue's suggestion on song choices, the typical 3-hour/3-set show would be about a 1 to 1 ratio of original music and covers - based largely on audience feedback - mixing covers from the 90s (Radiohead/Smashing Pumpkins), early 2000s (Killers/Coldplay) along with the very recent and very classic.
To make the evening memorable, Ben will engage the audience by way of tasteful humor, song options and explanations with the goal of longer customer retention and promotion of the venue and staff.
